About the Event

The World Food Championships is recognized as the world’s largest Food Sport competition, drawing more than 1,500 chefs and home cooks from across the globe. Each participant competes within a specific category—like Bacon, Burger, Barbecue, and Dessert, using WFC’s signature E.A.T.™ judging methodology (Execution, Appearance, and Taste).

Held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, the competition brings together professional chefs, culinary students, and passionate food enthusiasts for several days of intense, high-energy cooking.

Inside the Kitchen

Competition day was filled with energy – timers ticking, cameras rolling, and the unmistakable sizzle of bacon across the arena.
Chefski’s focused plating technique, attention to symmetry, and precision in sauce placement reflected his years of experience in both fine-dining presentation and personal chef experiences.

From his mise en place to the final garnish, every detail mattered. Judges from the American Culinary Federation observed closely as competitors like Chefski plated dishes that blended flavor, technical skill, and visual impact.

Proudly Representing Indiana

Beyond the competition itself, Chefski’s participation in the World Food Championships reinforces his commitment to representing Indiana’s culinary talent on a national level. His brand, MyChefski, continues to deliver private dining experiences, corporate catering, and event menus that combine fine-dining quality with a personal, approachable touch.

“Every dish I create tells a story. It’s a culinary journey through flavor, balance, and the people who make it possible,” Chefski shared after the event.
